Scouts are 10½–14 years old.
Scouts meet on Tuesdays at 19:15 – 21:00, we usually meet at the school but when ever possible we like to get the scouts out and about.
Each Scout Troop consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, usually led by a Patrol Leader. Outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being camping. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp.
We have also take scouts to a police lockup, fire station, climbing, ice skating and to the panto.
We have also take the scouts on a number of weekend camps, and plan to do many more in the future.
